Steve assumed the role of Lead Minister at First Christian in September 2007. He considers Florissant "home" since his family moved here in 1972. He received a B.A. in Bible & Preaching from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee and an M.A. in Theological Studies from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. He was ordained by the First Christian Elders in 1983 before joining the staff at First Christian in June 1987. He is married to his wife of 25 years, Beth, and has four children: Josh, Lauren, Brianna, and Steffi. Among his hobbies are fitness and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, Rams and Blues. Steve celebrated 25 years in the ministry in 2007.
