Ruth has been involved with the Children's Ministry since 1995. An alumnus of Johnson Bible College, Ruth was married to Charles, in 1959. Over the years she has been an integral part of the church, serving in various secretarial roles. She always found children to be her "first love" in ministry. Ruth works directly with the choir directors during the school year helping leaders prepare for fall and spring musicals for children preschool through 5th grades. Ruth and Charles have six grown, married children, 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys babysitting her grandkids to give their parents a break, as well as socialize with the people of the community as she is out and about. Ruth's goal this year is to help make things go smoothly in this most important time of change at First Christian and in her life.
